"Details remain mostly unknown at this time, but Keweenaw Report can confirm that a man died Monday afternoon at Isle Royale. A Facebook post from the Isle Royale Queen IV acknowledged the heroic efforts from Captain John Kilpela to pull the man from Snug Harbor.
The preliminary investigation is being handled by the National Park Service. Keweenaw County Undersheriff Tonya Stefonich says an autopsy will be done shortly."
