The fire is 75% contained and has burned 429 acres. Check the map for new closure areas. This map does not reflect current info. Lane Cove trail and CG are open as is the Mt. Franklin trail. Lake Livermore was added to the list of IR Lakes as not to use as a water source. Do not use water from Lake Livermore as of 9/05/21.

Funny, almost, that the only contained part of the fire is Lake Superior. And notice the fire break along the Tobin Harbor/Duncan Bay portage. It seems that's as far west as the Park Service will allow the fire to burn. Interesting that there are no fire breaks on the east side of the fire. I have ...
